Membership in WWSC can be an exciting experience for the whole family. Most people want to “check us out” before committing to become a member. Guests are allowed to watch or participate at up to three of our show practices ($10 for participants- to pay for AWSA insurance), most of our junior development practices, and special other activities. Our monthly meetings are open to guests.
Members wanted
The Wichita Water Ski Club Has room for several new members. We need water skiers of all ages and ability. If you are veteran competitor or a beginner wanting to learn to ski-we have a place for you. WWSC is a family oriented and has a special price for family members to help make membership affordable. Individual members and “junior” members are welcome too. Even non-skiing members can participate by driving the boats, coaching, coordinating social activities, helping in ski shows, etc.
It’s not a requirement that you have a boat or a lot of expensive equipment (in fact you can probably find a top quality used equipment from other members and save money). WWSC owns equipment for club members to use including slalom skis, etc. Skiing with club members is a good way to try equipment before you buy your own.
The WWSC gives the opportunity to meet other water skiers, have access to a Private lake in northwest Wichita, get quality coaching from experienced members, ski in tournaments, ski jump, use of tournament style boats and ski with top drivers.
